We have packed up and left Mammoth and are now staying the night at Emigrant. Tomorrow we head to Missoula to stay with friends and make some final decisions on what we are bringing. I will be sure to put up a picture of the massive pile of gear we will be looking at once in Missoula, thinking....we are carrying all of this? on our bikes?

Thanks for posting this blog- it'll be nice to live vicariously through you while I'm stick in miserable, cold Minneapolis All Winter. I'll be following you the whole way. Stay warm, and may the wind always be at your back.
